Welcome to 11 Gables Ludlow!

We’re Andrew and Jillian Demers, owners and operators of this special home in the heart of Ludlow, Vermont. We created 11 Gables Ludlow as a place where families and friends can slow down, reconnect, and experience everything this mountain town has to offer—comfortably, thoughtfully, and with a genuine sense of home.

Family is at the center of everything we do. We have two young children together and also are proud Dad and Stepmom to two young adults. Traveling as a blended family has taught us a lot about what makes a stay truly enjoyable: safe spaces, practical comforts, and places that work just as well for toddlers as they do for teens and adults.

Our own life experiences shape how we host. Andrew is an avid outdoorsman who completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, the Long Trail, and Tour du Mont Blanc (France, Italy, Switzerland) - experiences that fostered a deep appreciation for simplicity, preparation, and respect for the places we stay. Jillian has traveled extensively through various mission trips in the United States and through educational opportunities abroad, including nursing in Belize and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China - all journeys that instilled a strong sense of cultural curiosity, balance, and care for others.

Together, we love hiking, backpacking, skiing, boating, and spending time outdoors in all seasons. Ludlow felt like a natural extension of who we are and how we live—close to the mountains, close to the water, and rooted in a community that values both adventure and rest.
